I have recovered from what was possibly the most hectic holiday ever. Toddler + big family + food + sugar = CRAZY. He decided yesterday was a good day to introduce us to his newest trick, banging his head on the floor during tantrums. Good times. I passed out from a food coma promptly after he went to bed… only to be woken up by him at 5am.
Excuse me while I take a NAP.

Enjoy it while you can!
Then you will have to decide if you are saving for their education, or their bail
And when menopause hits, you will wish you could do it again.
Thank everything that is happy for grandbabies

He’s almost two? Then he is right on schedule. Welcome to the beginning stages of the terrible two’s! What’s worse is the terrible 3’s. (It’s funny how people forget age 3.) Not only do they tell you “NO!” they tell you where you can go. 4 is just well...evil, plain evil. They level out around 5. See what you have to look forward to?
I’m glad both of my boys are 11 and soon to be 8.

Yeah, that bullshit goes on for a bit. My eldest did that occasionally. Just slide a pillow under his head and don’t respond otherwise, lest he think that banging his head is a good way to get attention.
