Slowly, emails and instant messages are popping up from friends and acquaintances letting me know their books arrived in the mail. An old friend from a previous job just popped up on my screen proclaiming “my book is here!"… so I am assuming they’re starting to filter into people’s homes this week and next. I also stalked my local Border’s Bookstore to see when they’d be arriving there and it looks like Monday October 15th is the magic date. If you want a copy and have waited for them to show up in-store make sure you run down and snatch it up from Border‘s quick because depending on the store they have limited numbers of copies coming in. But, they’ll be easy to find.

We’d love to know if you receive your copy and/or have read it. In fact, if you’ve bought or go out to buy a copy, take a photo of yourself with it and let us know! Post it on Flickr or email it to us. We’re working on some promotions… maybe there’ll be some schwag in it for you…
and I can tell you, we have some awesome stuff lined up in the coming weeks for giveaways and GOOD prizes, some of which are taking up space in my bedroom and need a new home. A home with vodka in it preferably.
I want to say thanks to Katie, Ellen and everyone at our wonderful publisher Wiley for putting up with our 80 bazillion questions. We’ll be the first to admit we’re doing The Newbie Shuffle when it comes to this process and they’ve been super at helping us figure it all out.
Like my other half, life has been insane to put it mildly but we’re finally getting things on track and we’re excited for the future. I promise more talk about things like how my toddler counted to 10 all by himself this morning or why I think PMS should stand for Pain in the ass Men Syndrome. Until then…

Reading Material I Got!
The time to read it? Not so much! Of course when Steven King comes into the home then nothing gets done. After the day I had at work yesterday, jumping into that wasn't what I had in mind. Lucky for me, my copy of It Girl's Guide To Blogging With Moxie finally arrived! I was beginning to think I was going to have to get mean with Amazon! You can see by the bowing covers and wrinkled bindings I have already jumped right in (what better way to calm the nerves during a Red Sox play…Did You Get It? Huh? Huh? Did Ya?
So, we're hearing reports that our book is trickling in now to those who have pre-ordered. I'm happy to see that it went out early, even though Amazon told everyone it wouldn't arrive until the 19th or so. I've read the whole thing by now and it's pretty damn good, if I do say so myself! ;-) Seriously, though, I think it's a good read and definitely didn't feel like a tech book.
