I feel like I should blog today, but I always feel like a tool posting about my own birthday.  I’m 31 today and I wish I could say I was doing something fabulous with my day, but I will be sitting here working on the book (there is editing to be done!) and trying to launch a site draft so I can pay my student loans.  But all is not lost.  I have a huge bar of chocolate I plan on eating for breakfast and there is a Well Mannered Dirty Martini and a big fat slice of Vanilla Bean Cheesecake with my name on them at Cheesecake Factory tonight.  Not the most elegant of birthday dining locales but hey, I don’t take my toddler to places that don’t provide high chairs so my fancy dinners will have to wait until a viable babysitter is available.  So in the meantime, I have some Ghirardelli Intense Dark Toffee Interlude to tend to.
