I got a much needed email regarding this blog that has made me decide to not use it for a while.  My inspiration lies in many other things besides talking about myself...and really, I’ve been blogging since 2001 - I think that’s quite enough, don’t you?  But I am not going away… I’m around in more ways than one:

Moxie Design Studios - My original passion and where I’ll be concentrating more of my blogging efforts.
SafeMama.com - My pet.  I blog there 3-4 days a week and it’s what keeps me interested in blogging at all right now.
LovelySafeMama.com - My Second pet… natural skin care and beauty reviews… more fun than giving you a blow by blow of the condition of my uterus or where I stand with potty training.

and of course, when “blogging” for personal reasons, I tend to take the easy way out:

Twitter.com/pinkmartinis
Flickr.com

I may resurrect this blog at some point but the pressure to keep it up is more of a nagging sensation (like being too busy to pee) than something that gives me any kind of pleasure.  In the meantime, I’ll be working, writing and finishing up my gestation project due this July.  I’ll be reading you though!  Let me know where I can find the few of you who actually read this site anymore and I’ll be stopping by!

Sad to see you go, but fortunately I can still IM chat with you.  I’m feeling the same way about my blog, though.

I am with you...I just can’t do it anymore either. Facebook statuses are about as deep as I get these days, yo.

Don’t be a stranger.

I am very sad to see you go.  I enjoyed stopping by to read your blog.  Your quite funny and I always felt like, “Wow..I am so not alone in this world.” with some of things you blogged about, kids, husband, life.

You have a full plate and since your really not leaving, leaving...I will catch you on the other side of town at your Safe Mamma gig and Moxie..

Hope your ‘gestational project’ is going well.  :o)

If I break out in a burst of NKOTB’s “Please Don’t Go Girl,” will you keep blogging?

I just checked and the last time I posted to my blog was November ‘08.  140 characters definitely much less daunting.  That doesn’t mean we’re old - it means we’re just old skool - right?

Yeah, I’ve been going back and forth, too. I totally get it.

Kathy,

I just found you through some guy’s blog babe site and now you’re leaving!  This isn’t fair!  Bring the blog back!  Pretty please?
