Maybe this is catty of me but… can someone please explain to me, the appeal of Natasha Bedingfield? What’s with this woman. I cannot escape her music, her corny videos no matter what I do. She is everywhere I go. Ok, so some people like her, I guess. Fine. I just don’t get it. She is so “ho-hum” to me, I just can’t understand why she is so damn popular that I hear her voice every time I turn on the radio, satellite radio, MTV, VH1, etc, etc.
I also don’t understand pistachio ice cream but, what the hell do I know. Maybe that explains my lack of tolerance for Miss Bedingfield. Is she pistachio ice cream?

Had to Google her to know who the hell you’re talking about. I guess it’s just a reasonably pretty blonde woman with a reasonably decent voice making reasonably decent music. *shrug* If William Hung can have a career, of sorts, making music, anything is possible.
But I guess I’m with you. I don’t see what’s bombastically spectacular about her.

I don’t get her either. I once saw a video she was doing with some popular rapper. It was like watching Miley Cyrus/Jay-Z duet. Paaaaaaaaaaainful and oh so wrong.

If it makes you feel any better, I have no idea who she is either, and it’s Saturday morning and I’m still in bed, so I can’t even find the strength to care enough to Google her.

i like exactly one song of hers, and the first time i heard it was when my hubby pointed it out to me. it was an acoustic version. much better than the radio version. it’s “unwritten” and i guess the lyrics speak to the writer in me. of course, i can’t find the acoustic version anywhere online. :(
