Before I tell you about how I just about set my house on fire, Joelle as offered up some Pre-Fab designs, for sale, right now.  We have missed working with the blogging community in beautifying their blogs.  So if you need a cute design for your blog, go snatch them up now before they’re gone!

If it’s any testament to how distracted I’ve been lately, between finishing the book, work and toddler tending… I just burned a bag of popcorn.  But I don’t burn popcorn like everyone else.  I burn popcorn with FLAIR!  Lots of dramatic smoke, fire alarms blazing, and even the fire department got a cameo appearance on The Kathy Show.  We have an alarm system with fire detection and despite having been called and providing my stealth password (it’s not “pyramid"), the fire department wasn’t notified somehow and came anyway.  I love being surprised by big burly firemen (and woman) at the top of my basement stairs.

I also sent not one but two items to her house instead of to my sister in-law.  Heeeeeelp. Meeeeee.

Start sending Lush.  I make sure it gets there.

I am the only one in my house who knows how to pop the corn.  In my microwave it takes a magical 3 minutes.  Not 3 minutes and 5 seconds or 2 minutes and 58 seconds.  A precise 3 minutes.  I have done everything I can to help the popping challenged in my house yet, I still smell the unmistakable stench of burned paper and corn on a weekly basis.  And while I’m taking over your comments, can someone tell me why no one accidentially sends me cool shit through the mail?

@Statia: Mmmhmm.  How about I send you poop?

@Brandi: I bow before thy popcorn popping expertise.  You know usually, I can manage a task like that without incident.  I blame the microwave.  Yeah...that’s it.

You have to learn the proper time for popping for each and every microwave, like Brandi up there.  They should even include that as a posted feature on all microwaves.  “This is a 3:08 popcorn time microwave.”
