So for a little more detail on the events thus far.  Yesterday was a crazy action packed day.  I sat in on a bunch of panels, mostly in support of Y, Cheeky Lotus and others.  I did manage to catch a Traffic Building panel, which was a little more basic that I thought but informative nonetheless.  I finally found Lisa and we shuffled off to a fabulous meal with Editor Extraordinaire, Ellen and Allison from Wiley who were such gracious hosts.  We had some fantastic wine and food and we laughed a lot.  After some shenanigans at the hotel bar afterwards [portion of this sentence deleted to protect the innocent], I crashed hardcore and didn’t even hear Y and Lena come in. 

Today I have listened to the Blog to Book panel sponsored by Wiley and had lunch with Miss Lisa.  They gave away 2 passes to SXSW during lunch and neither of us won.  Bah! I have a chance now to relax a bit and take advantage of the free wifi before I get to hear the The Art of Crafts panel which has none other than Amy Sedaris speaking.  I dragged my big heavy book here for her to sign so I hope I get a chance to do that.  This entry is totally riveting isn’t it?

I may skip out on the afternoon panels and go relax for a bit before cocktails later which, thanks to Joelle‘s trick of a Midol and some water before bed, I can totally handle. ALl I need to do is convince this girl to stay up past 9pm and I’ll consider this a successful trip.
